South of Midnight Sawmill

While I was working at Compulsion, I was in charge of the Sawmill Area which was the big gameplay part of the Vertical Slice at the time.
From building kit to level art, I was in charge of this monster.
Even though it changed a bit in the final game, it kept the identity I worked hard for.

The 2 first pictures are in game and the rest is more Work In Progress during production.
The biggest challenge was to create the kit and build up everything and still keep that organic kind of shape.

At the time, I also worked on the surrounding areas with my lead especially on cliffs.
